Construction work is now underway to deliver 100% affordable homes in Garden City, Deeside that will provide a mixture of homes for the area.
The Northern Gateway development, which is led by ClwydAlyn in partnership with Flintshire County Council, Welsh Government and Lane End, will feature 100 homes, of which will be two, three and four bedroomed homes as well as two bedroomed bungalows and one and two bedroomed flats.
The scheme will offer energy efficient and carbon friendly homes, with an EPC rating of A and will include a range of sustainable technologies. Built with high performing materials as well as the installation of air source heat pumps instead of traditional heating and hot water systems, reducing heating costs and lowering the carbon emissions.

Lane End will be delivering construction works at the site, utilising their extensive expertise in the construction and housing sector in supplying modern, affordable housing for thousands of people.

This scheme is part of ClwydAlyn’s development programme to deliver further 1500 new homes in North Wales by 2025 at an investment of £250m bringing the total number of homes in management to over 7,500.
