Pathways & Trainees
We offer paid career pathways to help people who don’t quite have all the skills and experience needed to do the role.

Pathways can range from entry to more advanced levels. Based on your skills and experience, we will tailor a development plan to help you to get the relevant skills and qualifications to help you reach your career goals.

Apprenticeships
This is a way to earn and learn at the same time!

You will typically attend college once a week and meet your workplace assessor regularly to help you achieve the job specific skills to do your apprenticeship. You will also gain a nationally recognised qualification.

There are a range of apprenticeships and they typically last anywhere between 12 – 36 months, and paid at the relevant National Minimum Wage.

Volunteering
A way to give something back or to learn new skills and meet new people.

You can choose to freely offer your time to help support others. There's also volunteering opportunities within different areas of ClwydAlyn which you can for an agreed period of time.

We can offer a wide range of work experience placements, from IT to Joinery and everything in between!

We Mind The Gap
ClwydAlyn is an Employer Partner for WeMindTheGap.

They offer a range of programmes that provide work experience, coaching and adventures to fill any gaps in young people’s lives aged 16 to 25 years old. Click the link to find out more!

DFN Project Search
Alongside Hft and Flintshire County Council, ClwydAlyn have been proud partners of DFN Project Search for over 4 years.

This programme is designed to provide meaningful work experience to young people with learning disabilities or autism, with an end goal of finding employment. Click the link below to learn more about this fantastic programme!
